Training on child sponsorship reporting quality control took place from 6 – 9 December 2021 at the Ngo forum for public health with the participation of a total of 26 attendees from partner LRPs, and ActionAid. The overall goal of the training is to help the Child Sponsorship team improve their professional report writing and content development skills. This training was organized to introduce participants to tools and techniques to make reports presentable, effective, and professional along with enhancing their ability to write a purposeful report and develop an awareness of the potential perils of poor reporting quality.

However, the training gave insight on effective communications ensuring seven elements, accurately stating a problem, storytelling, etc. Some basic knowledge on photography and videography was also shared so that participants can be clear about how to produce something own and how to orient others for collecting success stories. All participants were provided with hands-on experience on collecting information for story, planning for articulate and establish the story presentation flow.  A variety of learning delivery and assessment methodologies were employed, in an attempt to enable the sessions to be participatory and interactive and to allow participants to effectively include the new ideas and learning.
