Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) has been implementing various developmental activities in Madarganj Upazila of Jamalpur district since July 2012 as a development partner of ActionAid Bangladesh. Following this, with the financial support of ActionAid Bangladesh World Children Day and Child Rights Week-2021 was observed in 5 Children Spaces. This year the theme of the day was “Invest for Children, Build Prosperous World’’ (Shishur Jonno Biniyog Kori, Somriddho Bishwo Gori)'. Main events on World Children Day and Child Rights Week 2021 are quiz competition, essay competition, writing competition, slogan writing competition, and sharing meeting. The children participated in these programs with great joy and excitement.

A quiz competition on child rights and child marriage was started on September 21, 2021, with the participation of 90 children. The competition is organized to aware the children about all their rights and how to take necessary steps to avail their rights. The competition is also organized to make children aware of what child marriage is, to know the consequences of child marriage, and to take steps to stop child marriage. After that, on September 22, 2021, the children participated in the essay competition held at Child Space. The number of contestants in this essay competition was 44. Climate change and coronavirus were the topics of the essay competition aimed at developing children's creative writing habits and raising awareness about climate change and coronavirus.

On September 25, 2021, a competition was organized about writing in one's own experience about the problems that the coronavirus has caused in the lives of children as well. The competition aims to inculcate the habit of subject-based writing in children and to take the necessary steps to identify all the effects of coronavirus on children's lives. To get an idea of how the Coronavirus pandemic has created barriers to education in children as well as how they can act on their own. The children actively participated in the writing competition. Then, on September 28, 2021, a slogan writing competition was organized at Child Space. The idea of slogan writing is first introduced through discussions with children. The purpose of the slogan writing competition is for children to gain ideas about topic-based slogan writing in their thinking and to be able to write slogans. The slogan writing competition is held with the active participation of children. The theme of the slogan writing competition was Women & Child Abuse and Coronavirus. 60 children participated in writing slogans on these two topics.
